Weekend Links / / Oil and Mac

There is a lot of transitions going on in our house. Jordan rebranded his company, which allows for me to take on a bigger role in the business. And, of course, while also chasing Phoenix everywhere. In the next few weeks, I need to buckle down and focus on planning for his birthday party!

Are you all watching The Keepers on Netflix? I’m not usually one for murder mysteries, but we were fascinated by Making a Murderer so we thought we’d give it a go. We are only three episodes in, so I don’t know how satisfying the ending will be. We chase The Keepers with Master’s of None. Aziz Ansari’s writing is poignant and funny. We’ll probably have it finished by this weekend!

Onto the Links!

10 Essential Oil Hacks for Everyday Cleaning | I have a small collection of oils, but I still use some traditional cleaning solutions. I believe in balance. 😉 My favorite hack is to put a few drops of Purification (DoTerra) down our garbage disposal. I will also use any leftover citrus like lemons or limes.

How to Make Frozen Spinach Cubes | If we have leftover spinach I usually throw it into a freezer bag. But, if you’ve ever noticed, frozen spinach is really crumbly. Blending and freezing, in an ice tray, would solve that problem!

8 Life Tips From Graduation Speeches | I love Ellen.

“As you grow, you’ll realize the definition of success changes. For many of you, today, success is being able to hold down 20 shots of tequila. For me, the most important thing in your life is to live your life with integrity and not to give into peer pressure to try to be something that you’re not. To live your life as an honest and compassionate person, to contribute in some way. So, to conclude my conclusion, follow your passion, stay true to yourself. Never follow anyone else’s path, unless you’re in the woods and you’re lost and you see a path and by all means you should follow that.” — Ellen Degeneres to Tulane, 2009″

7 Things to Include in Your Media Kit | I need to update mine!

Rose Gold Macbook Case | I love this rose gold case. I’ve been using Jordan’s hand-me-down 2013 MacBook Pro ever since my first iMac officially died in 2016 (it was an 09!). Two important applications I need for work (Photoshop and Lightroom) automatically shut off. So, yesterday we bought a brand new MacBook Pro! It’s light and beautiful. Now, of course, begins the arduous task of transferring files.

Happy Weekend, all!
