My mother once told me you will latch on to a particular age and mentally cling to it. For her, the age was 37. As the baby in my family, I’ve been the one to age up. I haven’t had to witness younger siblings go through milestones I felt like I just went through. Jordan is the oldest, so I am experiencing this with his siblings.
But, back to aging.
I thought turning 30 would be more traumatic for me. 30 sounds finite, no? Now that I am 30, I feel great! Despite the loss of my ab muscles, I’m in better shape since having Phoenix. My age only emerges when I discuss cultural references with my co-workers.
“Who’s Dashboard Confessional?”
“Mulan is a classic Disney movie.”
My main area of focus right now is skin care.
Cell turnover starts to decrease in ones thirties and my skin has taken a beating since Phoenix’s arrival. I can’t sleep as much as I’d like, so I need products to go the extra mile. Particularly, for my dark circles. Enter eye masks.
I use face masks regularly, but I had never heard or thought of using an eye mask! VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Pads is an 8-hour overnight treatment, which is different from other sheet masks. I have used overnight face masks, though never for the eyes. It’s satisfying to utilize what little sleep I do receive to improve my skin’s texture.
Full-face sheet masks are a little cumbersome and never seem to fit quite right. VIIcode’s eye mask are extremely comfortable, which is important since you are sleeping! The gel-like material soaks in and doesn’t leave behind a weird residue. You can easily pop them off and start your day without washing your face.
It is recommended to use apply the eye mask two to three times a week. Three boxes is a full course of treatment. I apply the masks on the nights where I work late. They can compensate for the sleep I’m not getting! Ha!
Have you ever used an overnight eye mask before?
