Current Obsessions | Purposeful Planner

It’s been a little while since I’ve done a round-up of my current favorite products. These are some of my favorite blogposts (and YouTube videos) to read! In honor of spring I’m here today to share my current obsessions.

What are your current obsessions? I want to hear in the comments!

Current Obsessions | Purposeful Planner

Eva NYC Clean it Up Shampoo | My hair is complicated. I need a powerful conditioner, but my hair easily gets heavy and weighted down. Does anyone else get headaches because of their hair?! Davines is my holy grail shampoo and conditioner line, but I needed an alternative to keep at home for Jordan and guests. I purchased Eva NYC’s shampoo and conditioner on a whim at Costco. Mainly because of the price point and pink bottle. 🙂

I am so pleased. The shampoo cleans, but doesn’t leave my hair stripped of moisture. The very same week I purchased the shampoo and conditioner, I received a complimentary travel size from Influenster!

Essential Oils and Rollerballs | I have casually used essential oils for a few years now, but never in rollerball form. I’m telling you rollerballs are a game changer! Instead of having to dilute with your oil of choice each time, it’s ready to go. Kayla reached out to me on Instagram and kindly sent me the Calm/Sleep blend from Young Living. The combination of lavender and cedarwood really is calming!

Kayla’s blog has a lot of great information for anyone who is curious about oils!

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer | You might best know Hourglass through their beautiful ambient lighting powder, blush and highlighters. This primer gives a matte finish, which will be perfect for summer. Nashville is already in the 80s! I received this primer complimentary from Influenster.

Lumene BB Cream | I was at Ulta planning to repurchase It Cosmetic’s CC Cream. I love the high SPF and the way it feels on my skin, but I don’t love the price tag considering it’s not full coverage. I randomly found this Lumene BB Cream on a shelf and I’m glad I bought it. The light color isn’t very “light” but it blends and covers nicely. Plus, it is less than $10!

Purposeful Planner | How beautiful is this planner? I’m only two weeks into using the Purposeful Planner, so while I am still learning the ins and outs I already feel more organized. My favorite feature is the simple household task written out each day: wipe down appliances, declutter bookshelf, clean mirrors, etc. It’s like my very own personal trainer for keeping my house in shape!

Vera Wang Embrace — Marigold and Gardenia | I currently own two perfumes. I’ve curated my scents down, so I originally didn’t think much about the samples from Vera Wang’s Embrace line. The Marigold and Gardenia perfume is heavenly. Somehow it’s light and warm at the same time.

Also, perfume samples are the perfect size for traveling! I often forget places like Sephora will make samples for you.

    1. I use peppermint oil for my headaches but diffuse mainly for the smell. though I will say I used defense up which has cloves (cloves helps to numb) in it when I had a sore throat recently and it was gone in a day. The scents can really be calming just like a candle!

  1. Great list! My planner is definitely on my list of current obsessions too… this is the first year I’ve used one, and I genuinely don’t know how I’ve survived without it.
I need to get on this essential oils/rollerball bandwagon now too, I think!

  2. I have been using IT Cosmetic’s CC Cream for years without fail. However, I am intrigued by the Lumene BB Cream you’ve recommended. I’ll have to check it out!
