A few months ago Fruition Salon reached out to myself and Moriah Murrell to host a holiday themed blogger night. I immediately said yes and began helping to plan this festive night of holiday style. We all wanted this evening to be fun but also informative. If you’re like me, you spend the majority of your time selecting an outfit for a holiday party but throw your hair in a topknot because you really have no idea how to style it. Haha. This event was about to change all that.
Each guest was instructed to bring their curling tool of choice. No reason to practice on a tool you don’t own! The goal for this evening was for everyone to leave with the skills needed to recreate a new look at home!
The night began with a holiday cocktail, coffee and appetizers. I’m still dreaming about the delicious gluten-free pie The Loving Pie Company donated. A Christmas music playlist (provided by my husband!) played softly aiding in setting a festive mood. After mingling and sipping on our tasty cocktails the night began!
Kasey, a stylist from Fruition, broke the style into segments. We gathered as a group to hear first how to section our hair, than the curl pattern needed and finally how to brush our curls out and pin it securely. Everyone practiced segment by segment at their stations, all with a little help from the stylists who were walking around ushering in pointers when needed. I was amazed at everyone’s skills!
The end result were curls brushed out to create a soft wave and slightly pinned back behind one ear. I can’t wait to recreate this for New Years Eve!

Lauren was our main salon point person and she did a great job coordinating!
Thank you to the team at Fruition Salon for hosting and thank you to everyone who came!
